Care & Cleaning

Store unworn jewellery flat in a jewellery box or pouch to prevent scratches.

Remove your jewellery when you sleep, shower, clean and exercise.

Try not to expose your jewellery to household chemicals, perfume, hairspray and chlorine. This is particularly important if your piece has gemstones.

Cleaning your jewellery regularly will keep your pieces looking good. Silver particularly oxidises over time and tarnishes when the silver reacts with hydrogen sulphide in the air.  If you want to clean your jewellery yourself use lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush. Rinse in water and dry gently with a lint free cloth. For jewellery with stones use only warm water.  Especially Opals, Turquoise, Coral and Pearls are porous and sensitive and even the slightest bit of ammonia (contained in some soaps and cleaning liquids) can make these stones matt.

I'm always happy to clean and revitalise any pieces I've made - you just need to cover the return postage cost.  Just get in touch to discuss.
